Catch Up

Alright, so it has been a while since I have blogged (pictures follow below). Here is what has been going on...Jamesy has been fully potty trained since April!! Even through the night! He loves to pee in the dirt (we did this when we were outside and he was learning) he thinks it is the coolest thing and we have been talking about how it is not appropriate (pictures below of proof)! It is time for me to start teaching Jamesy his letters, so we have had letter days and he loves it! We have been going to the lake and doing some hiking and Jamesy could stand in front of the water for hours and just throw rocks in, he LOVES it! He is all boy (except when he wants me to do his make up and nails)! Every time we come home from the beach the boys end up passed out in the back seat! I love to see them sleeping so soundly:)

Sammy is crawling, climbing, and standing on everything. He is going to be one tough little guy, Jamesy experiments with him a lot! Some days I wonder if I am going to make it through raising two boys! Teeth, clingy, no sleep are the way I would describe the last little bit. Sammy's bottom two teeth are breaking through and I think the top two are right behind! We took a picture of his cute legs because they are so cute, it seems to be where all his chub likes to go! Sammy also likes to pull things out, whether it be diapers from the basket, toys, blocks anything! He likes to unload things!

Our good friends the Ferry's came up for a visit and we had a blast. It was so nice just to be able to hang out again. We went hiking, to the park, the lake, and we got a babysitter one night so Joel, Becca, James, and I could just hang out like the old times. It was so nice to have them here and Jamesy loved waking up and having his friends there first thing in the morning. Thanks guys for coming up!

My Mom and Jim drove halfway and met us in Tri-Cities for a day Jamesy thought it was a blast and was sad they weren't coming home with us. Lucky for us they are coming up tomorrow!!

And finally, we went to Seattle over the weekend; bought the City Pass and did the Aquarium, boat cruise, zoo, Space Needle, Museum of Flight, shopping, and Pikes Market all in three days! It was exhausting. We walked everywhere which was fun and on the 4th we weren't even close to making it to fireworks. The boys fell asleep at 6:15 and James and I followed at 8:45!! Maybe next year if we can stay up late enough we'll see fireworks! There were a lot of statues in Seattle and Jamesy wanted a picture next to all of them! He loved it! It was hard to keep up with him, he would just run from one thing to the next. He was afraid of the fish that would come alive when someone looked close at it, and it was hard to get him to stand with me to take a picture! The funniest part of the trip was when Jamesy was on the rides by the Space Needle and the little planes started to go down (something he did not anticipate) his little face got so scared, but once he figured out he wasn't going to die he loved it and wanted to go on it over and over again. There are pictures below, they aren't really in order but I hope you enjoy them!

Rach! LOVE all of the pics. Seeing Spokane makes us a little homesick : D The boys are so cute (you are too, of course). I can't believe how quickly they grow up. We are moving back to the NW (Medford, OR) next July. Hopefully, we can see eachother in person!

Hey Rachel! I linked to your blog through Leslie's. We have a blog, too, that we made private. If you would like an invite send me your e-mail to lacetheace@hotmail.com. Hope you are recovering after all those hills in that race yesterday--my legs are sore today!
